MNX Raises $6.4M Pre-seed
MNX, a decentralized futures exchange, has raised $6.4 million in a pre-seed funding round. The company, which is building its platform on the MegaETH Layer 2 network, plans to provide specialized futures and prediction markets focused on the artificial intelligence sector.
This round was led by Village Global, an early-stage venture firm that provides capital and operational support to startups. Additional participants in the round included Cambrian and North Island Ventures.
The company plans to use this capital to support the launch of its mainnet, scheduled for this summer. Funding will also be allocated to the development of its high-performance batch auction mechanism, designed to reduce latency and MEV for users trading AI-focused financial products.
MNX is a decentralized exchange platform that facilitates trading in equity perpetual contracts and prediction markets tied to AI-related assets, such as computing power and lab valuations. By utilizing MegaETH, the platform aims to provide a fast and efficient trading environment for technology professionals and crypto market participants.
