Sentinel DeepActive, a financial artificial intelligence startup based in South Korea, has secured 1.13 billion Korean won in strategic funding from Hyundai Motor Securities. This latest capital injection brings the company's total cumulative funding to 4.25 billion Korean won.

Hyundai Motor Securities participated as the sole investor in this round.

Sentinel DeepActive plans to use the new capital to accelerate the development of its AI-driven pension robo-advisor, enhance its proprietary AI foundation model from 2 billion to 15 billion parameters, and expand its investment target assets from 15 to over 300.

Founded in 2023 by Lee Jun, a former patent attorney specializing in AI, Sentinel DeepActive focuses on developing financial artificial intelligence. Its core technology, Sentinel AI, performs daily rebalancing of diverse financial assets to provide active portfolio management, with a specific focus on retirement pension solutions.
